Fix Start VPS Issue "qemu does not support the accel2d setting"

Error Details

In certain circumstances, you may encounter an issue starting a newly built (or rebuilt) VPS server. This error most commonly affects Windows VMs.

Example error message:

There was an error while starting the new VPS
error: Failed to create domain from /etc/libvirt/qemu/v4283.xml error: unsupported configuration: qemu does not support the accel2d setting

Steps to Fix

To resolve this issue, follow the steps:

  1. Access the VPS Manager.
  2. Navigate to the Advanced Settings of VPS configuration.
  3. Deselect the "Acceleration" setting.
  4. Save the VPS configuration.
  5. Power down, then Start/Boot your VPS
  6. The VPS will now start as intended.
