How to Change the WordPress User's Display Name
This is the username that WordPress displays on posts and comments, and, if you want, you can change it to the name you want to show publicly.
In this tutorial, I'm going to show you how you can change a user's display name in WordPress. So let's begin.
Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard and you will be on this page. Go to "Users" and click "Profile". Scroll down and look for the display name.
First, type the name in the text input box given for nickname. Now, you will need to select that name here and it will be displayed publicly. Then, scroll down and update to save the changes you have made.
Notice that the username has been changed and this change will be reflected also in your posts and comments.
