Reboot Linux Server Using SSH


This article provides a guide for rebooting a Linux-based VPS or dedicated server using the SSH command line.

To begin, first login to your VPS or server via SSH. To see a guide for this, view this article.

As the root user, run the following command:

reboot

The connection will be lost because the system is now rebooting. Wait for the system to come back online and log in to continue working.
