Rad Web Hosting has successfully completed emergency security maintenance across all managed cPanel/WHM hosting infrastructure in response to the Critical Vulnerability with cPanel & WHM Login Authentication announced by cPanel on April 28, 2026.

This vendor-disclosed vulnerability affects the cPanel/WHM authentication subsystem on all currently supported cPanel releases and was classified as a critical security event requiring immediate provider action.

Actions Completed by Rad Web Hosting

  • Reviewed and validated cPanel vendor advisory
  • Applied all available vendor-issued security patches
  • Implemented recommended authentication mitigations
  • Performed forced update synchronization on all cPanel servers
  • Validated cPanel/WHM login service integrity post-remediation
  • Enabled heightened monitoring on all affected systems

Current Status

We can confirm that:

All Rad Web Hosting managed cPanel/WHM shared hosting, reseller hosting, VPS, and dedicated servers have now been patched and secured against this vulnerability.

No exploitation activity has been detected within Rad Web Hosting infrastructure and no customer service interruption beyond brief maintenance windows was experienced.
