Operating System Requirements for Control Panel Software


This article provides the Operating System compatibility requirements for the Web Hosting control panel software offered with Dedicated Servers.

WHM/cPanel

cPanel and WHM require RHEL-derived systems including CentOS and CloudLinux. See also: cPanel system requirements.

Plesk Onyx

Plesk Onyx provides full compatibility with Windows operating systems, as well as RHEL (CentOS and CloudLinux), Debian, and Ubuntu systems. See also: Plesk system requirements.

DirectAdmin

DirectAdmin supports full compatibility when paired with RHEL (CentOS and CloudLinux), Debian, or FreeBSD operating systems. See also: DirectAdmin system requirements.

Webmin

Webmin supports installation with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (CentOS and CloudLinux), Debian, or Ubuntu operating systems. See also: Webmin system requirements.

CentOS Web Panel

Minimal CentOS/RHEL/CloudLinux 6.x or CentOS 7.x installation. At this time, CentOS Web Panel currently supports the English version only. Both 32 Bit and 64 Bit versions are supported, where applicable. For more, read our full CentOS Web Panel installation guide.
